Jack Sayed, President & CEO

Before founding Apollo Energy Storage Corporation, Jack worked at Nissan Motor Company as director of corporate planning and pilot (project leader) for Nissan’s LEAF electric vehicle (EV). While at Nissan, he developed business strategy for the North and South American market that facilitated a $1.4 billion loan from the Department of Energy (DOE) to assemble EVs and batteries in the state of Tennessee.

Previously, Melanie worked as a business strategist at First Tennessee Bank, where she advised business owners, CEOs and CFOs on cash flow, financing growth and operations, building company value and stability, reducing operating costs, and reducing the impact of risk.

Jon Lehman

Jon Lehman, Associate Dean of Students – Owen Graduate School of Management, Vanderbilt University

Jon Lehman serves as Associate Dean of Students responsible for admissions, student life and career placement. From 2005 to 2010 he also served as Associate Dean for Health Care with responsibility for the successful creation and launch of health care management programs. He serves on the Executive and Health Care Program Committees at Owen. Previously he served as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Management focused on health care information technology.

Paul Ney

Paul C. Ney, Jr., Attorney – Waddey & Patterson, P.C.

Prior to joining Waddey & Patterson Law firm in Feb. 2010, Paul Ney served as the Director of the Mayor’s Office of Economic and Community Development for the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County from January 2008.

Between November 2005 and January 2008 Paul held appointed positions at the Pentagon. Most recently, he served as the Deputy General Counsel (Legal Counsel) for the U.S. Department of Defense, managing key litigation matters covering the entire Department and coordinating with the White House Counsel's Office, Department of Justice, and other agencies on the Department’s legal issues. Paul also advised senior Defense officials on a wide variety of legal questions, including detainee and Office of Military Commissions matters, and supervised the Office of Legislative Counsel and the Defense Office of Hearings and Appeals.
