Jack Sayed, President & CEO
Jack is the
President and CEO of Apollo Energy Storage Corporation, a leading provider of integrated clean energy storage
services. Jack’s solution is focused on system integration that generates, stores,
and supplies consistent renewable energy to alleviate consumers’ dependency on foreign oil and fossil fuels. He
collaborates with governmental leaders and executives of leading companies to devise and execute solutions for the
effective use of renewable energy.
Prior to founding Apollo Energy Storage Corporation, Jack applied his vision and entrepreneurial spirit to
conceptualize and develop the lithium ion battery for Nissan and electronic giant NEC. Jack founded a
subsidiary company, Automotive Energy Supply Corporation (AESC) to manufacture, market, and sell lithium ion batteries,
which has become a key pillar of the Nissan / Renault Alliance business. Equally notable was Jack’s creative idea to
establish Nissan America’s environmental planning office. He was the pilot (project leader) for Nissan’s LEAF electric
vehicle (EV) and developed business strategy for the North and South American market that facilitated a $1.4 billion
loan from the DOE to assemble EV and batteries in the state of Tennessee.
Jack’s vision in launching Apollo Energy Storage Corporation is borne from his commitment to making renewable energy
and transportation electrification a viable and reliable reality. To that end, Jack is currently working with leading
universities, utility companies, solar panel makers, lithium ion battery makers, electric vehicle charger makers, and
local governments regarding the development of integrated clean energy storage systems.
A global business leader, Jack has lived and worked on three continents working for Nissan, Ford, Mazda, and Denso
Corporation. Culturally astute, Jack is committed to making clean energy storage an affordable option for the world population.
