Scott StevensA communications strategist for more than 20 years, Scott specializes in the advancement of brands for both new technologies and established businesses. He develops media and marketing plans to feature clients’ innovations and unique offerings that can benefit consumers as well as position corporations for future growth. Scott specializes in working with diverse groups for the purpose of collaboration to promote new solutions that benefit society.

Managing both external and internal audiences worldwide, Scott raises corporate visibility with media, analysts, consumers, employees, governments and community leaders. His clients include start-ups, IPOs, acquisitions, divestitures and Fortune 500 companies. Applying face-to-face relations and traditional and social media, he consistently generates news and industry analyst coverage -- stimulating target audience response -- through an effective mix of communications tactics.

Teaming with business-to-business, business-to-consumer and business-to-government partners, his current and past collaborations include Nissan, Dell, IBM, Motorola, Shell, SEMATECH, Semiconductor Research Corporation, Seton Family of Hospitals/Ascension Health, Touchstone Communities Healthcare and Abe’s Garden Memory Care for Alzheimer’s. Most recently, Scott was vice president of corporate communications for Nissan Americas.

Scott studied international relations at the United States Military Academy at West Point and earned a journalism degree with a major in public relations from the University of Texas at Austin. He completed the Harvard-MIT business executive program for international crisis management, "Dealing with an Angry Public.” He has lived and worked in Asia and across the U.S., and has been responsible for clients’ brands in North and South America, Asia and Europe.

A member of the Tennessee Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations, a volunteer for Community Nashville and a graduate of Leadership Austin, Scott also serves on numerous advisory and development boards for business, environmental and civic organizations, as well as public and private universities.
